WQED – Quantum Theater presents “Collaborators” by John Hodge directed by CMU’s Jed Alan Harris through the end of the month on Hamilton Avenue just behind Bakery Square. From the writer of the film Trainspotting it’s a story about playwright Mikhail Bulgakov who writes a 60th birthday play for Josef Stalin. Founding Director Karla Boos suggests there are some dramatic similarities to news headlines of today in themes for the play which was written in 2011. There are some laughs too. Martin Giles stars as Stalin and Tony Bingham as Bulgakov. Karla reveals the plans for the upcoming season of Quantum and fills us in on the details of the production of Collaborators…
