Pittsburgh Post-Gazette – Quantum Theatre was down on the farm Sunday to celebrate its 30th anniversary with the Q Ball. Roselea Farm in Moon provided a sophisticated country vibe for the gathering, with a courtyard, barn and lights strung over wooden tables.
It was a perfect fall evening to catch up with friends and browse the silent auction, which was set up inside the barn. Alfresco dining under the stars was provided by Wild Child chef Jamilka Borges and Buffalo Rose filled the night air with folk sounds. “It couldn’t be more beautiful,” said Quantum Theatre founder and artistic director Karla Boos.
“We are so excited to be gathering together tonight,” said event co-chair Jessica Quinn-Horgan with John. Co-chair Waverly Duck (with John Nulty) agreed and so did over 100 guests, who helped raise $60,000 for Quantum Theatre.
Nancy and Dick Mills of Roselea Farm and their standard poodle, Rosie, mingled with guests, including Carolyn and Bill Byham, Tacy Byham, Pam and Ken McCrory, Erica and Jason Snyder, Bob Hoover, Aaron and Karen Cohn, Cathy Tigano, Emily Rampa, Janet Lea, Elizabeth Marcellino and Shelly Pagac with Andrew Barnes.
