Pittsburgh Post-Gazette – They call it the glassiest event venue in town, which is why the Glasshouse Happy Hours hosted by Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens in Oakland, and PUMP (Pittsburgh Urban Magnet Project) are such a popular ticket.
“It’s an evening of networking featuring dynamic performances,” said Phipps’ Carley Adams. Wigle Whiskey provided the libations and Cafe Phipps the food for the Thursday soiree, which gave everyone a chance to explore the gardens inside and out. Featured guest Quantum Theatre performed a scene from “Peribañez” on the Green Roof Patio, taking advantage of the lovely summer evening. “Peribañez” will be performed at the Rose Garden in Mellon Park August 5-28.
