Friday, Aug. 2-Sunday, Aug. 4: “A Moon for the Misbegotten” at Longue Vue Club 8 p.m.

Quantum Theatre opens its season with Eugene O’Neill’s final work under a real moon. Designed by pioneering architect Benno Janssen, Longue Vue was established in the 1920s on 370 acres of land overlooking the Allegheny River Valley. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the setting provides an English country estate backdrop. Go beyond the stage with public events including a picnic dinner date, champagne ladies’ night and the Quantum Quaff discussion with wine pairings. Tickets.
